So I am officially beginning my study of 3D modelling.

This is an example of a quick sketch I did the other day.

It’s all paving the way for my next film which will be a blend (hopefully) of stop frame and computer 3D.

I have some ambitious ideas so I might get together a crew and actually get some funding.

If anyone is interested in being a part of it let me know :0)

Masking and Keying…

This is where we are in the process.

We are masking out the model and then keying – the result will look something like this:

Then we will put in the backgrounds and desaturate the whole thing – and presto!

Model of Week One…

Model One.

Experiment with constructing a head using a polysphere to begin with and various brushes. The result is more of a ‘quick sculpt’ work in progress -definite room for improvement! Off with his head!
